Texas Bioptic Laws

 
Bioptics are permitted for driving and to pass the licensure test. 

  • Visual Acuity: 20/50 in the better eye, with or without corrective lenses.  
  • Restrictions begin with vision worse than 20/50, may require comprehensive road test.
  • Visual Field: No mention in the regulations.
