South Carolina Bioptic Laws

 Bioptics are permitted for driving, but not for licensure test.

  • Visual Acuity: 20/40 in the better eye, with or without corrective lenses.  
  • 20/70 in the better eye if worse eye is 20/200 or better; 20/40 if worse eye is worse than 20/200.
  • Visual Field: Not addressed.
