Nebraska Bioptic Laws

Nebraska passed a law in 1990 to allow bioptic driving. There is no stipulation on the power of the scopes used for driving. Further, there is no minimal acuity requirement through the carrier lenses. A driver must only achieve 20/60 vision combined through the scopes in order to be granted a license. Daytime or nighttime privileges depend upon the visual ability of the driver.
