Florida Bioptic Laws 

Bioptics allowed for driving, but not to pass the licensure test. 

• Visual Acuity: Must have 20/70 in either eye with or without corrective lenses. Monocular persons require 20/40 in the functional eye.
• Visual Field: 140 degrees minimum.
• Bioptic Telescopes are not recognized to meet visual standards.
• Must have 20/70 or better in each eye with or without prescription lenses.
