Hawaii Bioptic Laws 

Bioptics permitted to drive, but not for the licensure test. 

• Visual Acuity: 20/40 in the better eye, with or without corrective lenses.  
• No provision for less than 20/40.
• Visual Field: Field of vision must be 140 degrees for a person with two eyes, 70 degrees for a person with one eye.
