Delaware Bioptic Laws 

Bioptics are permitted for driving and to pass the licensure test.

• Visual Acuity: Unrestricted license: 20/40 in the better eye, with or without corrective lenses. Restricted license: 20/50. Beyond 20/50 driving privileges are denied.
• Visual Field: No requirements.
• Bioptic Systems are treated on by each case as long as the applicant passes all the driving tests.
• Bioptic telescope visual acuity of 20/50 or better is required. No carrier visual acuity is listed.
